The Good People Fund is named for the good people who do grass-roots charitable work, the good people who need those services, and the good people who lend their financial support. In a variety of ways and settings, individuals and small organizations work quietly and diligently, often below the radar screen and with shoe-string budgets, to better our world. It is to these people, whose efforts are often under-funded, that the Good People Fund directs its attention. By making the work of good people visible, they also help to make it viable.
One might call those who do hands-on charitable work “social entrepreneurs” or tzadikim (righteous ones). The folks at Good People Fund choose to call them simply good people. Even a small donation is a cost-effective and meaningful way to join them and support their work.
